Headboard Before & After

The second part of the furniture project I'm currently working on is a beautiful antique bed. As much as it pains me to paint this gorgeous bed, which appears to be mahogany and is from around the 40's, I did enjoy painting it.
I used Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Old White. I applied clear wax, distressed it and then applied dark wax. The headboard had to be repaired in a few places, structurally, but I think it turned out great.
