Nashvegas Baby!!

Peyton has been on Fall Break this last week so we decided hit I40 and head up to Nashville for the weekend. We didn't have any plans in mind but we are staying at the beautiful Opryland Hotel. It's stunning inside and out. It has everything in it that you could want or need. Lots of restaurants, stores, bars, pools, fitness center, spa, an arcade and everything else you need. There is also a boat ride you can take that goes through the hotel.
When we got up here yesterday we needed to kill some time until check-in so we went to Cooters Dukes of Hazard Museum. I used to love watching that show when I was a kid.

After Cooters, we headed to Bass Pro Shop to kill more time then over to the beautiful hotel. Our room is gorgeous and right downstairs and you can open the doors on the outside wall and look out onto Wasabis Sushi Bar and the walkway. Everyone is so nice and helpful here, which helps because we have gotten lost several times already.

We went to the mall in Cool Springs today then headed to Franklin to walk around for a bit. We went to an antique store in the Factory and went to the Franklin Farmer's Market which is really nice too. (By the way, we don't have a microwave in our room so I'm currently blogging and eating half frozen spaghetti and meatballs from our trip to Maggiano's last night. We have a fridge but not a microwave. It's still good cold though.)
That's all I have for now. I'm being summonsed to go to the pool. :)

  2. Thanks Alicia! We live outside of Memphis but I love Nashville & Franklin. It's a nice vacation spot up the road from us too.
