Painting Fabric

I bought this old wingback chair at an estate sale back around 2003. I paid $75 for it with the intentions of reupholstering it one day.
Fast forward 9 years and the discover of Chalk Paint™. This stuff paints everything and fabric is no exception. I painted it with two coats of Chateau Grey and one coat of clear wax.
It's not crunchy or sticky and it's actually quite comfy. I can't wait for someone to come over and sit on it.

  2. Thanks Pat! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE reading your blog! My husband and I are taking our 11 year old son to NYC for Fall Break this year and one thing on our agenda is to visit Brooklyn. It seems like such a wonderful place and you paint a magnificent picture of it on your blog.
