We had a small cookout this afternoon with some good friends. We made some great friends at Peyton's baseball practices and games this spring/summer. We had a few of them over for a cookout this afternoon. It was great. We had jerk chicken wings, burgers, hot dogs, rotel, brownies and cookies. Everyone got here about 4:15. Graham and Brian were outside grilling the wings and the gals were inside hanging out. Then about 30 minutes later, the power went out. It stayed off for about 30 minutes. Just long enough for it to get warm inside. And of course, we had 5 boys running in and out. The power came back on, the food came off the grill and we enjoyed a delicious meal. I promised that I was going to get some pictures today and I had the camera sitting right there on the counter. However, no pictures were taken again. Oh well, maybe next time.
So the countdown to Paul McCartney is on. Me and three other girls are driving up to Nashville on July 26th to see Sir Paul. It is going to be fabulous!!
