Weekend Update

We had GORGEOUS weather this weekend. It couldn't have been more perfect. Peyton plays baseball for Arlington Little League and opening day was this past Saturday. Arlington, TN is a great small town and they have wonderful events that are very family oriented. We had to be there at 8am (the not-so-fun part). There are 36 teams involved the the league and they all had to be there at 8am for a parade. They paraded around the field with their team banner. Then they lined up on the field. There were 2 older Shriners there too. One of the said a prayer that was very touching and the other one told the story about the American flag and it's history. Then he told everyone about the folds of the flag and what they stood for. It was pretty amazing. Each team coach was introduced and then they chose a few teams to play games. Luckily, we weren't chosen so we got to leave.
We went to Nature's Earth Products and bought four pallets of field stone to have delivered so we could get to work on our flower bed. They delivered them later that afternoon and Graham and I got to work sorting them and working on our front flowerbed. It looks so good too! I was so exhausted after toting rock and bending over breaking my back that I was asleep by 8pm. Crazy!
Sunday morning, Graham had to go to work and Jennifer, Maya and I went to the Spring Market at the Agricenter. Peyton stayed with some neighbors of ours and played. The Spring Market was fun and had a lot of great items for sale. I came home at 2 and helped Graham finish up the field stone, although he had pretty much done everything. We had to put stones around the two trees in our front yard. We have so much stone left so one night this week we will put stone around the 4 trees we planted in the back yard and the stone we have left, we will use to make a fire pit in the back yard. I have always wanted one.
Other than laundry, nothing else exciting is going on here at the Jones house.
