We drove down to Atlanta Monday morning to catch a couple Yankees games. We left Memphis at six in the morning. We stopped at Hardee's in Tupelo, our usual vacation breakfast stop. We checked in at The Hampton and went to Maggianos for a late lunch/early dinner. They have really good Italian food and we don't have one in Memphis. We each got a pasta dish and then we each got one to take home, compliments of the restaurant. That's just how wonderful this place is I tell ya. I had spaghetti and meatballs and barely put a dent in it. Then I got cheese ravioli to take home. We have it in the fridge at the hotel.
So then we headed to Turner Field to the game. After driving around to find a place to park, we finally found a place. We were hoping to get some autographs but we got there too late for that. The game was great. The Yanks won 3-0. We had a great time and there were tons of yankees fans there. It's now 11:11, way past my bedtime and I'm still up.
