Happy New Year

As a rule, I don't make resolutions. I know I need to eat better. I know I need to exercise. I know I need to do numerous things. I know that whether it's January or August. I try all year to start doing things to be a better and more healthy person but in the end, things just don't change. Sure I'd love to shed about 10 pounds. Well, here's to hoping.
The one thing I will try to do, is to be a better blogger. I rarely get on here and post and for that, I am sorry. All of my (12) followers are probably devastated that they don't get daily updates from me like they do their other blogger friends. For that, I apologize.
I had a customer bring me a very old headboard, foot-board and dresser Friday night. I am painting these pieces and some others that she will be bringing me soon. Of course, Annie Sloan's amazing chalk paint will make these pieces Fabulous! Here are the before pictures.





The dresser needed numerous repairs so we started working on that yesterday, and spent the entire afternoon into the evening fixing it. We stripped off the top veneer down to the original wood. Turns out, it was poplar and very pretty.
