Record Album Bowls

Here's another quirky little project I made a couple of years ago. Record album bowls.
They are so easy to make and so much fun!

Gather some old records (no Beatles records please).

Preheat your oven to 200-250 degrees.

Place the record album on top of an oven safe bowl (turned upside down) and put the bowl on a baking sheet.

Put the baking sheet in the oven for about 4-8 minutes (just keep an eye on it and watch the album and it melts in different places).

Take the baking sheet out of the oven

Put your melted record inside another bowl to shape it. You'll need to have oven mitts on b/c it's very hot. Use your hands and mold the bowl however you like.

Let it cool.

They make great conversation pieces. A good place to get old records to use is from the Goodwill, not your parent's record collection.
